Spalting is any form of coloration caused by fungi in the wood. It's always unique colorations are sought after by woodworkers and designers looking for unique pieces. Green, Orange, and Brown compliment the classic maple color in this piece.

Each letter board has custom designed letter slots carved directly into a solid Spalted Maple slab, and are oiled to bring out the grain and colors. Every board made is unique and handmade to order. The board pictured here is the board you will receive upon purchase.
